Tori Orchard
Jersey, Jersey

Tori’s work is led by her emotional reaction to stimulus. Often inspired by country and coast, she represents these in a way that aligns with the way she feels in response to her surroundings - often abstract and expressive. She will also occasionally represent other aspects of life in her work. Tori lives in Jersey, Channel Islands, and spent four years in Cornwall, where she revisits every year.
About Tori Orchard
Tori's artistic style has developed over the years, exploring different themes and styles. However, the one constant interest which touches not just her mind, but her soul, has been the landscape and nature.
Now, Tori's work mostly reflects aspects of nature in abstract and expressive forms - these are visual representations of the feelings which are evoked in her when exploring varying landscapes in the coast and country.
Meanwhile, her art is informed by not just landscape artists but abstract and contemporary artists past and present, often who use colour to the maximum and who purposely veer away from 'perfection' and realism.
Tori uses a range of mediums in her work, including acrylic, oil, and pastel.
