Everything around us has its own energy, which, although can’t be seen, can be sensed. My aim is to express that feeling in my paintings.
About Celina Borfiga
My art is mostly abstract,however, I also find inspiration in taking a familiar scene and expanding it through colour and texture into a more complex and personal interpretation, just enough that the viewer can still identify with the original view.
I think the accuracy of an image becomes less important than the feeling it evokes when viewed. As with abstract work, it’s the harmony and energy within the painting that’s important, taking you into the subconscious world of the artist who painted it.
